Key terms

These terms apply when you use isthathux.com or buy from the IsThatHux merch shop ("IsThatHux", "we", "us"). You must accept them at checkout before you can pay. Questions? Email [email protected].

Products

Every item is made to order for you by our production partner, Printful, then shipped directly to you. Product photos show your design placed on the real product, but colours on screen can differ slightly from the finished item, and printed or embroidered placement can vary slightly from piece to piece. Small differences like these are normal for made-to-order items and aren't defects. Measurements in the size guides come from the manufacturers and may vary by up to 2" (5 cm).

Personalization

You're responsible for the name or text you enter, including spelling. It's printed exactly as shown in the preview, so please check it before you pay: we can't replace or refund an item because of a typo you entered. We won't produce text that is hateful, harassing, explicit, unlawful, or that uses someone else's trademark or identity. We may cancel and refund any order that includes it.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and shown before shipping. Shipping is calculated for your country before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive an order confirmation. If a price or product is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Accepting these terms

Before you can pay, our checkout (run by Stripe) asks you to tick a box agreeing to these terms, including that all sales are final. Your order can't go through without it. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when, and we email you a summary of the key terms with your order confirmation. Each version of these terms stays online at its own address; this one is at isthathux.com/tos-2026-11-03.

Taxes and duties

Orders shipped outside Canada and the US may be charged import duties, taxes or brokerage fees by the destination country. These are the recipient's responsibility and aren't refunded. A package refused because these charges weren't paid is treated as unclaimed (see Shipping).

Shipping

Production usually takes 2–5 business days, followed by carrier transit. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Please check your shipping address before you pay: we ship to the address you enter.

Changes and cancellations

All sales are final. Orders go into production automatically right after payment, so we can't cancel an order or change its size, colour, design or name. If your shipping address is wrong, email us right away: we'll try to correct it before the order ships, but we can't promise, and nothing can be changed once production has started.

Returns and refunds

All sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges, or give refunds, for:

The only exceptions are the problems our production partner, Printful, covers:

How to claim: email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery (for a lost package, within 30 days of the latest estimated delivery date) with your order number and clear photos of the item and the problem. Please don't send anything back unless we ask. We pass the claim to Printful, and once Printful accepts it we send you a replacement at no cost; we may offer a refund instead, at our discretion. Claims made after 30 days, or that Printful doesn't accept (for example wear, washing damage or small colour differences), aren't covered.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to show it.

Every item is made to your selections, so where the law allows (for example the EU and UK rules for goods made to the buyer's specifications), the cooling-off or withdrawal period for online purchases doesn't apply.

Nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law where you live.

Payment disputes

If something's wrong with an order, please email us first; we can usually sort it out faster than a bank can. If you dispute a charge, we'll give the card issuer, through Stripe, your order details, the terms you accepted at checkout, and the shipping and delivery records.

Intellectual property

The HUX logos, designs and other content on this site belong to IsThatHux. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without permission. Buying a product doesn't transfer any rights in the design.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version you accepted at checkout applies to your order, and each version stays available at its own address.
